We have three new screenshots of Shenmue Chapter 2 for today. Two of them are wireframes to see the progress made of the interior of the ship as things are added, and one showing a peak at the bar in the ship as a rendered image.

Work will once again begin on Shenmue Chapter 2 soon and we will try and finish the game this year once and for all. keep a lookout on the main page for details on when we will restart and for screenshots and other news.

Shenmue Chapter 2 has successfully been integrated into the new website, Sega Role Playing with its own dedicated page complete with a comments board at the bottom. There are also now a very good number of unreleased screenshots that can be seen below in the image viewer. Have fun browsing the pictures and expect updates over the next few months.

Collision detection is being placed on the boat and the interiors are coming along. Most sound effects have been established and are awaiting implementation. Lastly in this update, character models are to be added next to populate the boat!

I'm proud to announce the the exterior of the boat for PS1.5 is nearing completion! Thanks to a surprise volunteer to the project, several textures have been donated that helped speed along the process of making the game. New images are posted below!

Tenshin Soft announces Project Shenmue 1.5. This game will fall into the Shenmue universe as is being made by several Shenmue fans. Project Shenmue 1.5 is Tenshin Soft's second entry into the Shenmue world with Shenmue Zero being released in May 2003. There is no projected release date for Project Shenmue 1.5 at this time.
