DBGT: Vegeta's Story had a few bugs until today. Known bugs: 1) The game wouldn't finish and the last boss couldn't be fought. Beating the game to 100% was impossible. 2) Invisible enemies from other levels would damage Vegeta at the beginning of each level. 3) Sometimes a save file would mysteriously disappear off of a computer and the game wouldn't function properly without it.
However, now all of that is gone! The game is completely fixed. It took a while, because it was overlooked until just today. However, enjoy!
May 1st, 2004
It's May 1st on the East coast right now. The game is done and has tons of unlockables and replay value! There is a problem with Windows XP machines not playing most of the MIDI songs, though.
DBGT:VS is 95% done. Just working out the kinks. The graphics were overhauled and look all right now. New screens. Estimated file size for the download will be about 4MB, maybe less.
Have soom great news for you gaming fanatics. Vegeta's Story will not only have 2D side-scrolling action goodness, but will also feature an overworld map so you can level up before time catches up to the story (through cut-scenes and such). So far, the game is a good 25% done and will be released May 1st. Additionaly, four new images have been added on this update.
Currently working on getting the cut-scenes done for the game, which are hand-drawn and customized for a better game experience. Vegeta's Story is a totally original game with a very original storyline that takes place after Dragon Ball GT ends. If you haven't seen all of DBGT yet, don't worry, there really isn't anything you'll find very spoiler-like in this, yet the game's story remains interesting and conflict-free from how the television show ended that you will feel right at home.
Vegeta's Story is a 2D Side-Scrolling action game where you guide Vegeta through various levels to reach a new plot discovery. It starts out with Vegeta looking back to how where he got to came to be - that means you start playing the game in events leading up to his current time.
Expect this one to be released some time in May of 2004! Screenshots below for you to drool over in anticipation of this Spring's definitive Dragon Ball fan-game.
