Sega Role Playing :: Yusaku BlogHi, I'm the Editor-in-Chief of Sega Role Playing. My username, Yusaku, comes from a little-known classic arcade and Saturn fighting game, Last Bronx, made by Sega. I also do work as lead programmer for the fan games portion of this website for Tenshin Soft. I've been programming games since 2000 and HTML since 1999.
Inspiration in creating Sega Role Playing came from my having missed the large number of fan sites in the past. These days, we no longer have Swirl Vision, Sega 2000, and the countless number of other Sega fan sites. I myself used to run the very obscure sites Sega Gamers and Sega Centauri. It's been years since those have been around.
After the Dreamcast was canceled, that's when the sites started to fall. Indeed, the very image of Sega has seemed to fade over the passing years, but we here believe that Sega is not only not a former shell of itself, but that there's still plenty of untapped and upcoming talent. Regardless of present or future, we of course cover Sega's past role-playing games.
