I wasn't planning on buying a PSP (probably ever), but I was in a local game shop in Manhattan and found this game brand new (sealed)
I got a blue PSP slim when I walked to a GameStop a little after. Sadly I didn't get an MSD yet, but I found a cheap 1GB on eBay. I don't plan on modding my PSP, so I'm not too worried about running out of space--and it only cost $10 shipped. Phantasy Star Portable is really fun. Parts of it are a lot more fun that PSU, of which I have over 2500 hours logged on, like it's easier to get around and most of the basic features are there, except you don't walk around the colony or planets instead using an overhead map with selected points to toggle between. I don't have a laptop, unfortunately, so I can't check out the game online with Kai and I certainly don't know anybody else with this game to play ad hoc.
